Behind the Suite…

Behind the Suite started as a playful spin on my “behind the scenes” — a nod to the curated chaos of hosting boutique vacation rentals, designing intentional spaces, and managing the everyday magic that goes into making a house feel like home. I wanted to create a space that pulled back the curtain on all things interiors, hospitality, entrepreneurship, and the joy found in the smallest details — especially the ones you don’t always see.

As the idea grew, so did my craving for community — and that’s where The Suite Society came in. What started as a creative outlet on Substack, quickly evolved into something so much more. It became a place to connect. To create. To share. It became a newsletter for intentional living and remembering to leave space to find joy in the little things.

Inspired by the Italian phrase il dolce far niente — the sweetness of doing nothing. I’ve come to believe that slowing down isn’t lazy, it’s sacred. Finding beauty in the everyday has become my favorite way to live life fully — not in the loudest moments, but in the most meaningful ones.

My goal is to share content with that philosophy in mind, because I truly believe that when your home reflects you authentically, it becomes a space where you feel most at ease, most inspired, and most at home.

The Suite Society now lives as both a newsletter and a community — a space to share favorite finds, renovation projects, hosting tips, design inspiration, and reflections on intentional living. It’s about curating a lifestyle that’s grounded in finding joy in the little things and creating a home (and life) that feels unapologetically like you!
